The top cap can snap onto the bottom end of an Artline Blox pen. However, the push button end does not snap together end-to-end with other Artline Blox pens or pencils, and the cap of the pencil does not post on the end (though it can be attached to the side of the pencil).
To refill the lead, remove the push button cap, insert lead into the lead storage tube, and replace the push button cap.
